  1. Peter Bestel says:

    Great initiative Kevin.
We’re establishing and growing through and despite this recession. Our own pension fund has been a goal for some time and that’s just for starters. Times may be tough but we see this as an ideal time to be consolidating a business.

I’ve always been told (and practised) that in economic down-turns, yes, batten down the hatches but also look at ways to increase advertising and diversify. If you’ve got the balls - it works!

  2. Mike Darling says:

    Kevin:

Awesome. I look forward to working with you and others on this journey.

You asked for feedback or suggestions.

My suggestion is a mastermind group of like minded people, who have committed themselves to achieving success by 1)establish realistic goals, 2)encourage one another as a group, and 3)take action.

Thanks Kevin for making this plain and simple.

  3. Dr.Mani says:

An *interactive* manifesto! How cool is that!!!

I look forward to seeing how this unfolds - and believe your introduction section hit the nail on the head for many people who are dabbling curiously in their online business without knowing exactly where they are headed.

I’m sure you’ll be able to guide many of them to find their online success - in 2011, if not sooner.

    All success
    Dr.Mani

  4. Don Aronson says:

    Kevin,

You’ve done it again! For several years I’ve read many of your recipes and have always been highly impressed with your e-books. For a long time I’ve considered you as my mentor.

I think this program is going to be the most successful of everything you’ve produced.

My best wishes for a highly successful program and to all those who join you in this new venture.

    Blessings,
    Don

  5. Art Remnet says:

Kevin - I cannot wait to be part of this interactive manifesto. Leave it to you to have the insight to create and lead such a group.

I too would love to be part of a mastermind group to help establish realistic goals and then encourage each other to reach those goals. Maybe most importantly, hold each other accountable to those goals. The ideal mix of peer group accountability and questioning/coaching.

I’m excited to be part of this Kevin - Thanks for the invite!

    Cheers!

  6. Cheryl Wright says:

    Hi Kevin,

Another awesome guide from you! You truly never cease to amaze me.

I live in Australia, and the government here has been phasing out pensions for many years. Anyone with a job has had to contribute to superannuation for many years, and now with this recession, even that is not a sure thing.

As the owner of several online businesses, I’ve seen more growth and more income since the recession hit than I had before. Which just reiterates what you said.

I look forward to growing my business even more under your watchful and very experienced eye.

Thanks for taking care of us all. (Don’t forget to take care of you!)

    Cheryl

  7. Talk about the universe answering your requests……… Looks like just what I need.
My ebook is coming along nicely, thanks to you, but that’s just step 1 to having a successful online business. I’m ready for the manifesto!

    Thanks Kevin.

  8. Bill Romer says:

    Dude!

    I’m all over this!!

While you’re at it, send over that hottie with the hammer drill ;-)

Although my job income is down, my online income is up significantly this year, thanks to your How To Home Business guide - sales coming in every day.

Thanks for that, and thanks for this - can’t wait to see what’s next!

    Bill Romer
    St. Louis, MO

  9. Jim says:

I’ve been a long time supporter of you and what you stand for. Having the genuine mindset of wanting to help people get more success in their lives is magnetic. I’m attracted to the words and to the dreams that you put into me. Sure there’s a recession and sure I’m broke like most of us are. But I do not look in that direction. I have started and am active in online start up programs. I get along so far and then it just fizzles away. Your comments have renewed my resolve to get over the hump and to finally break through and become successful in my own rights.

thanks for the faith in your fellow person,

  10. art says:

The idea of creating a series of products that can generate sales each month starting today. Ebooks or videos sound the fastest.

  11. Richard Paley says:

    Kevin,

This couldn’t have come at a better time for me as i’ve been taking massive action this month in building my online business. I decided to offer my services as a ghostwriter, simply because i’ve heard horror stories of banks calling in overdrafts and credit card debts without warning. So I want to get my own debts sorted asap and get back in the black.

With your guidance I hope to be able to grow my business and for most of it to be automated by 2011. As that would free up my time allowing me to learn Japanese, the reason for which is I really enjoy watching anime but feel it loses something in the translation.

    Richard

  12. John Cumbow says:

    Hey Kevin,
I’m more than ready to knuckle down and break through some barriers…

Starting with overcoming procrastination and staying motivated.

    Let’s get to it!

    John R. Cumbow

  13. Darwin Dennis says:

    Kevin,

Thank you. I fully believe you are on the right path to enduring success. It seems we have been putting to much faith in government and other institutions. That is a result of programming over the course of our life.

All we have to do is watch some news and realize we can no longer count on these institutions. We should all right our personal manifesto and develop a philosophy of self-determination. Then find a group with similar beliefs and bond with them.

As Toriu is an inspiration for you, your actions inspire me. Having spent a good portion of my adult life in military uniform I have empathy for the men and women going home and having to face what is waiting for them.

I appreciate the fruits of your labor as it provides me with nutrition and inspiration.

    Thanks again

    Darwin

  14. Norman Smith says:

    Kevin,
I have completed your WF private workshops and like the style and practical aspects you teach. But i need to pull it all together.I have run offline businesses for many years and now want to make an online business, for my 2011 retirement !

    regards
    Norman

  15. Colin Imeson says:

    Hi Kevin.
This is long overdue and I wish you all the very best of success with the project. How can it fail when it is exactly what people are looking for?

I’m 60 this year so I need to build some security for the long-term future and cash-flow for right now.I can see this as being one of the GREAT programs to emerge from the chaos and I look forward to working with you soon.
    Cheers,
    Colin

  16. Greg Hopkins says:

    Kevin,

I’m excited about this project. It seems there is an energy moving in this direction.
I have been stuck in the corporate mindset since graduation, some 30 years ago. It is like carrying a ball and chain around. When I read your introduction to the manifesto, I felt and internal conflict rise up. One part of me longs for independence and the ability to control my own destiny and work from anywhere I choose. The other part is the small thinker afraid, uncertain, and limited by the brainwashing over years. My first goal is to break free from the small thinker pattern. Without making this change, I won’t be able to see the possibilities, give birth to ideas, create my future.

I’m still uncertain, but I’m with you. Every little move in a new direction adds to the momentum.

    Keep up the great work.

    Your friend in New England,
    Greg

  17. Diana Kipka says:

    Hi Kevin,
This brilliant idea of yours is just what I need! I, like Don A, have long considered you a mentor - my sensei - and have learned many things from you either thru your information products or workshops. What I lack is the confidence in my abilities to get my business ideas out there onto the global market.

Since I am currently out of work and unlikely to find a job immediately in such a down market as Canada is in, I need money now plus I need to start building my retirement funds asap as I am sure that Canada Pension will be close to empty by the time I am eligible. I need to get into harness now and am prepared to work hard at establishing myself in an online (ad)venture.

So bring it on! I am ready to put my ideas forward and share them with you and others as well as be inspired by you and all of Riley’s Rangers.

    Cheers
    Diana

  18. Nancy Boyd says:

    Hi Kevin,

Now this is the best idea you’ve cooked up EVER! I have a couple of big projects under way, mostly geared toward answers for people to help them co-create their own solutions.

It’s wonderful that you are establishing a very interactive community and “playground” in which to work and prepare for a much better future even during stressful times.

Way to go! Can’t wait to see how it all unfolds and what we decide together.

  19. John Rogers says:

Those are some sobering statistics, Kevin. I’ve seen a lot of people lose their jobs over the past six months, and the prospects for finding a new one aren’t very good. I’d like to see your manifesto incorporate something that teaches people to discover and leverage their own talents, and outsource what doesn’t make sense to do themselves.

  20. Mikelo says:

The last job I had resulted in a woman I recommended sleeping with the manager, and the assistant manager job being taken from me and given to her. Further politics resulted in me being fired, despite loyally trying to make a success of the business. Hell with this.

You want to know what I want? I want to make a prosperous living doing what I love to do. I say, why the hell can’t I spend the rest of my life playing and bringing in the money from doing it? Anything is possible.

  21. Anna Kindler says:

    Mornin’ Kevin,
This is Granny Annie here and just wanted to tell you that I have almost completed my eBook and am trying to learn how to set up my website to sell my procuct. This learning gig has been a great journry for me and as a fan of your work, you have been a great influence for me in trying to start my new business. I enjoyed the first copy of your manifesto 2011 and am looking forward to your nest issue. You seem like you really care about us little people, who have very little experience. I am very pleased I was lucky to come across your information. Thanks again, Anna

  22. michael fallon says:

hi kevin only joined yesterday but looking forward to working with you and your team and start what will be a whole new and exciting direction for me im a complete beginner so i dont know if im going to upset you but i believe you want honest feedback ive watched a lot of your videos last night & this morning and enjoyed them all but this one made me a feel a bit dizzy with all the stopping and starting but the content was good.

  23. Randy Marsh says:

    Hi Kevin
When I came to you over a year ago I knew nothing about creating an e-book or website as you know. Now I have a guide and 2 websites and with a little SEO I think we’ll do good. After losing my job after 24 years I no longer trust the (system) for my retirement years. I do trust Kevin Riley because what you do for others is a win win. With input on what I would like to see would be a nuts and bolts application of Komposer, Nvu, or Wordpress to build a website or salespage. I would really love to be able to master one of those to create something from start to finish without relying on a template. That’s FREEDOM!
Can’t thank you enough for all your help.

    Here’s to 2011
    Randy Marsh

  24. There is not one post to this blog that I do not heartily agree with. I lost my job in March and feel so relieved to be able to follow my own interests rather than spending all my time trying to meet the requirements of a job. I have some great ideas and talents but up until now have not had the confidence, tools, internet experience, or know-how to put anything into action. I am so encouraged by the comments I’ve read because they assure me that I’m not alone. Thank you all so much for your contributions and especially you Kevin for bringing us together.

  25. Cindy Hohe says:

Kevin, this is a great concept - very timely, too. The economy has touched my family’s life, just as it has many others. We’re living proof that trusting others to do what’s best for your own family’s financial health is a recipe for economic hardship.

Our goals are to achieve complete financial freedom. No debt. No mortgage. No car payments. No more letting creditors control our financial destiny. And enough income to live comfortably through our retirement years.

While my husband continues in his engineering position, it’s my ‘job’ to build our online business. I am looking to create several diverse income streams, as much passive income as possible and as much long-term income as possible. The business will be robust (hopefully) and sustainable.

This is going to take a lot of planning and organization. I don’t want to work hard to build up our business only to lose out on success because I wasn’t effectively managing everything.

So that would be my suggestion. Outline the best ways to make sure our businesses are performing well and keeping all the different streams of income under control and manageable.

Nifty project. I’m glad I heard about this.

    Cindy

  26. Liz Lambregtse says:

Thank you for sharing your knowledge with others and for “giving back” to those who are interested.
I was down sized from my job in early 2008 during my recovery from a successful kidney cancer operation. I have been trying to recover physically since then, but have many health issues and conditions, so have not been able to. So, even if there were a real job to be found, I would not be able to do it. But, I can work on-line and I am able to learn. I hope to gather enough energy to “just do it” and to succeed.
My goals are to be able to earn enough money to pay the bills and to be able to retire some day, instead of working until the day I die. I also wish to share any knowledge that I have with others, to also “give back” to those who are interested in learning. I also wish to have enough money to be able to give it away to worth causes that need so much help - especially now that so many have tightened their belts and no longer can give to those who need help.
Thank you, Kevin, for your willingness to share and teach your knowledge to any who want to learn, and for giving back to us all. I just hope that I am able to find the energy to “just do it”.

  27. Alyce Mott says:

I really appreciate this initiative even though I am probably one of narrowest niches tuning in. I specialize in digital music performance materials and soon e-books in my niche area. But I also find that you speak to a lot of very universal issues that help all.

I have now been out of work since October of last year. Carrying a huge credit card debt and pretty much down to my last nickle after having established my first business which is approaching it’s first birthday. I am exceedingly proud of where we stand to date, but it’s certainly not enough to counteract NO BILL PAYING JOB.

My goals are financial freedom and independence. Having carved a 30-year NYC theatrical, I have always known there would be no pension. But now that the reality is actually here, it’s far scarier than I imagined.

The solution is a business (which I now have) which I control rather than working 120% for someone else. Although until the business really begins to move, I still need that bill paying survival job.

    Arrrrrggggghhh.

  28. Debbie Bishop says:

    Kevin:
You’re my hero. You’re always light years ahead of the competition.

I agree with all the above comments and trust you completely. Due to family issues, I’ve still not started the ebook empire course. BUT, I’ve read through it and have been studying up on Internet marketing techniques. Once I get back home, I plan to get through you course and begin my life anew.

You are the one “guru” I can follow with confidence. You know what you’re doing and you care. You’re always “giving back” and do not treat your trainees like morons.

I try to avoid the media hype and stay positive about my future and the future of the world. Everything is possible if we’re willing to work hard, open our minds, and be willing trust our beloved leader, you.

Here’s to our success in 2011 and, God willing, sooner, rather than later.

I don’t want to depend on anyone but myself and my husband for my success. The government (and large corporations) will take care of themselves first. There is no loyalty. It’s up to us, folks. We need to buck up and take personal responsibility.

I can’t wait to see where all this is leading. You are a true visionary and I think the next few years are going to be exciting and opportunistic for us.

I’m sure we all want to make money as quickly as possible and are willing to do whatever it takes to accomplish success.

    Kevin, you’re the man….

  29. Hermas says:

    Hi Kevin,

The interactive feature of your Success Manifesto 2011 is most appealing to me. As Confucius says: “…Involve me and I’ll understand.”

Many of the traditional, formerly reliable methods for achieving financial security have collapsed. Millions of people are now scrambling to find alternative methods to free themselves from (or avoid) the wreckage left by the global economic turmoil.

What’s most important to me at the moment is to build and maintain a lucrative home-based business that provides long-term income security for the future, and I look forward to your guidance in that regard.

    Hermas

  30. Bart Vyvey says:

    Kevin,

To respond on your call for feedback:
What Art says is exactly what’s on my mind…

I also need to get rid of this small thinking mindset and start to listen to my inner guidance (and thus the universe).
And complete your wonderful Warrior Forum workshops…

Oh and I can understand why you’re blushing when reading Debbie her comment.
But she’s right on! You’re the man!

    Cheers to Everyone’s Success!!!

  31. Old Coot says:

    Hi, Kevin,
I agree with everything that has been said above (OK That’s got that out of the way!)

The concept you have here and the time frame makes me believe that once again you have come up trumps and that people like myself will be able to look to you for even more great advice, information and teaching.

So, how will Kevin Riley inc. help me?

Let me speak for the thousands of ‘newbies’ who are floundering in a sea of content - a little of it good but most of it out and out garbage. At the moment, because everything offered to newbies is of the “make a million by yesterday lunch time” variety, nothing stands the test of common facility.

Every newbie knows that no matter what they buy, no matter what it was supposed to deliver and no matter what they paid for it, there will be a vital part missing. The problem they have is to identify the missing part and find out where to get it from. When they find out where to get the missing part from they also discover that the (no longer) missing part contradicts or modifies what it was missing from.

AS a member of many forums I have been absolutely staggered by the responses some people give to requests for help. I have been even more staggered that many of the responses demonstrate that if 20 people recommend a particular product to solve a problem (ie 20 different product names) the chances are that there are really only one or two products but they have been rebranded or re-written. The sea of content just keeps getting deeper all the time!

The time is long over-due when marketers at any stage of their careers should be able to visit a single authority site and know that either the answer they seek will be there or the source of the answer will be ‘authoritatively’ provided.

Maybe I live in cloud cuckoo land but I truly see that, given the willingness of people to accept what they need help with and to seek that help in an arena where “if we don’t have it we know someone who REALLY does”, the Yellow Brick Road starts here!

Online businesses need to come back down to Earth and start to operate in a sensible and sustainable manner - I think your Manifesto could be a tremendous catalyst, creating a reaction that will finally see realistic efforts obtaining realistic rewards.

  32. Butch says:

Hey Kevin just responding to your call for feed back. What I am looking for, is to make money online. Selling my own info products and creating income and security for the future. Also if there was a way to make money right now that would be nice also. Just to jump start a little supplemental income until I started generating a good income online.

  33. Ricky Curtis says:

    Hey Kevin,

Just when I think that you cannot impress me any further, you do!

    Great idea and sorely needed!

Like I said during the workshops, 2009 is the year that I want to move from employed to self employed and this is exactly what I need to help get me there…

    Bravo Kevin!

  34. I thought I would write again and offer feedback about what I would find most helpful. In reviewing the list of “wants” I would say that mine would be:
    1) Have a home based business. I live very rurally and commuting is a hassle for me. At the moment I don’t have a functioning vehicle.
    2) I want a long term income. I turned 60 this past winter and have felt very financially insecure for a long time. Does time go by more quickly as we get older or is it just that we notice it more? I have never had any hope of a pension. Was married 27 years (happily on my own now) to a self employed person who didn’t believe in setting anything aside for the future.
    3) I need money now. I am living on unemployment since getting laid off in March. I am not desperate but there is only enough $$ to pay for necessities.
    4) I absolutely must have income security for the future. I have always done a lot of physical work my whole life. I still am, but feel it’s time to slow down and give my body a rest. I have gotten my expenses down but don’t want to live like this for the rest of my life. I want to be able to spend the cold months snorkeling in the Sea of Cortez.
    5) I must be my own boss. I didn’t have to work when I was married so I guess I got spoiled. For the past 14 years I have been doing home health care, working closely with the elderly. I am quite burned out on that. I have been laid off from the last 3 jobs, not because I am a slacker or bad worker, but because my heart just wasn’t in it. I have a definite circadian rhythm, which means I can’t stay up all night taking care of people. Well anyway, you get the picture.

I know I have rambled on here but I would like to add that the most valuable things I could take away form this is:
    1) Staying focused and finishing what I start.
    2) Learning to use the computer to get my product out there and earning some money for me. I have a very DVD and sell a few a month but I know I could be very successful with it if I know how to market and sell it better. I get so angry with myself and discouraged when I can’t seem to do the simplest thing with the computer. I have sent for many courses and have tried to do my own website (advertised as so simple anyone could do it - HAH!) but they always leave out a basic how-to step and I am dead in the water.
    3) Encouragement of working with a group. I am a real loner and have a hard time asking for help. From reading the above comments I can see that we are all in the same boat, with variations of course, but we are all working toward the same goal. We have different backgrounds and levels of computer competency and that is good.

So that’s what I have on my mind this morning. I can’t wait to get my info and get started. This is so exciting and encouraging.

  35. Lynn says:

    Hi Kevin

I am really excited by your Manifesto as you are one of the few mentors that can be relied upon to give genuine, reliable information. I’m reluctant to refer to you as a ‘guru’ as the majority of those just seem to jump on the bandwagon to promote the latest “must have” product regardless of its quality. I have unsubscribed from most lists now, I only want to hear from the few who are willing to provide good, solid information like yourself.

In response to your request for our input, I would like to build an online business where I can create a portfolio of products or websites which will make money on autopilot after the initial work has been done. I want to make it clear that I am not looking for something for nothing. I enjoy working online and I am well aware that the work has to go in before the money comes out.

I see from the other comments that I am not the only ‘old codger’ around here. I have decided that I am going to retire when I reach the age of 60 towards the end of this year. I could carry on and keep what security my 40-hour per week job provides rather than trying to get by on the small state pension that I will receive but none of us know how long we are here for and I don’t want to work at a boring, mundane job until I die.

I have several of your products already and can’t fault their quality, but after work I have little time and energy to put into creating an online business. But now that I have taken the decision to retire I am determined to build a home-based online business that will initially supplement my pension and hopefully, over time, become a long-term income that I can pass on to our two adult sons to provide long term security for them. They both have a degenerative retinal dystrophy and although they are working at the moment there is no knowing how long it will be before their sight loss progresses to a stage where it will be impossible for them to continue.

So thanks for setting this up Kevin, and here’s to our mutual success.

    Regards
    Lynn

  36. Robert says:

Well lets put it this way - The £ has sunk in value and you need alot more to buy into IM $ based opportunities - Getting scammed is nolonger a luxury option, as for monthly subsciption fees to membership sites - Don’t even think about it!

  37. Sandy says:

    Kevin,

I was very impressed with your comments, especially since I am trying to build a full time business. So far my husband and I have been lucky in that as one door closes another has always opened.

However, we no longer have any retirement funds and it wont will not be too long before retirement is forced upon us.

As you already know, I am an avid student of yours and am looking forward to more news on this concept of yours.

Many thanks for your thoughtfullness and caring.

    Take care

    Sandy

  38. I must express how pleasant it is to read something so positive and encouraging. I can see how regular doses will be very beneficial over the next two years. I feel as if I am in a room of friends even though I am out here in a remote canyon in New Mexico. Today I am contentedly working on my ebook. Along with this lovely manifesto update I have had an email from a fellow who I hired a few weeks back to help me with my computer. I spent (wasted) the entire day yesterday trying to post one simple page to my website. I really do not have a clue how to do such a thing. Anyway, he has offered to do my website for me in exchange for a puppy. We have 9 puppies, a result of agreeing to watch a dog for someone who decided to go to Hawaii rather than come back here. Not to get off the subject but I just feel that there is a very positive aura about this whole thing - the manifesto and its ramifications. Hope you don’t mind my sharing these thoughts.

  39. Don Aronson says:

    Hi Kevin,

When I last submitted a comment, I left out my opinions as to what my goal is. I’m 76 years old and still working; teaching students in the health area. It’s now getting a bit lot for someone my age and I’m anxious to learn more from you so I can become successful at working at home. Considering that I enjoy writing I think you’ve found the path for me.

Here’s to you for all the efforts you have put forth for “the rest of us” which is now appearing to me to be the crown on all the other “Recipes” I have of yours. I am looking forward to the continuation of “Success Manifesto 2011″ and my entry into the “Product Creation Lab” as I know now that my future to do the things I want to do is just a short distance away.

    Blessings,
    Don

  40. Monty says:

    Kevin,
Old Coot has a good handle on what many of us are going through. I have several products from your list and have found them to be great. I am still looking for that one manual that shows me how to do the techie stuff that allows me to not be dependent on anyone.
    Looking forward to your Manifesto

  41. Col says:

    This sounds great Kevin.

    When’s the webinar ;)

    Cheers,
    Col

  42. David Perdew says:

    Kevin -

You really do know the secret of success - massive action. I think I take a lot of action but man, you make me look lazy.

I’m really excited to be part of your manifesto and look forward to more success with you. Thanks - David

  43. Old Coot says:

I suppose this could be termed part two since you requested mpore specific information:-

Do you want to build a home-based business?
You bet your sweet life I do!

Do you just want to make a little extra income?
A little extra income is all I need to live on - $1,000 a month would be luxury living but I do have a very large family so I will set my sights higher!

Do you want to supplement a pension?
I remember pensions – they are beyond being supplemented because very few keep up with the cost of living.

Do you want a long-term income that fully replaces your job?
A long term income that can be willed to my family would be ideal.

Do you want money right now?
Want isn’t in it – I have not eaten for four days and am not likely to until I get some debtors to pay me (they all vanish once the realise you are in trouble!)

Do you want income security for the future?
    Naturally.

Do you want to make money online? Or offline?
I used to work offline up to five years ago when my health collapsed. I am trying to launch a product that will help others do what I used to do very successfully (see www,oldschoolsmarts.com)

Do you want the freedom of being your own boss?
I would like to continue in that vein.

That takes care of what I need. Now, what do I want?
Often there are times when I cannot see and I have three people who look after me then if I need to go out with my dogs. Two of my guides are OK but one of them is absolutely superb. A bit like the navigator in a rally car she gives me a running commentary on what is in my immediate vicinity and what I need to do to avoid accidents.
I need that sort of guide through the mess that is the internet marketing information I have at the moment.

  44. After 3 years working away at learning how to make money online, I find I am in information overload and in debt. I need a path to focus on - one I truly know has shown to be profitable. And I need a set of blinders to ignore all those marvelous-sounding offers coming my way every day. I’m looking forward to a step by step action plan from you. Focus, discipline and fun!
I have learned a great deal from your products so … bring it on!

  45. Robert Arciola says:

    Kevin,

You have always been one of the few, the very few, online to over-deliver on your products and projects; to care about the little guy and the newbie. This manifesto is quintessential Riley; the right idea at the right time for the benefit of all.

I for one am struggling to survive. My online ventures are still a dream.

By 2011 I would like to be my own boss of an internet based business. Immediately, like now, I need to bring in an extra $600 a month to keep us going.

Ultimately I want to be fully self-sufficient. My own retirement plan in place, an ongoing, profitable home business and living away from the strife and turmoil of the big city, “living off the grid”.

That is my manifesto in a nutshell. Now, here’s to you Kevin. You are a man for our times.

    All the best,
    Robert

  46. Kat Bartone says:

The stock market bust of the last two years has decimated my pension. I’ve got to take my retirement plan into my own hands, and there’s no time to spare.

    I’m on this.

  47. What I think I will benefit from most is the discipline. I love the No Excuses thing. I find it so easy to let myself off the hook, but if I have others watching it is more difficult to do. Also recognizing that those who are successful didn’t get there easily. As Hilary, I am also experiencing information overload. All this email about getting rich quick with no work involved is a huge waste of time and mental effort. I have unsubscribed form all but Kevin and one other. Also what Kevin says about the family exerting influence on you. After so many years of struggling with no obvious success I have lost credibility with friends and family. They never come right out and say it but I can read their thoughts “Oh another of Judith’s crazy schemes”. Well there will be no more of that! This manifesto will keep me in line and on track. No Excuses!

  48. Tom Wall says:

There would be nothing better than to be able to retire a couple years ahead of schedule and maintain my same income as I have now. I would be able to spend more time with my wife and we could enjoy our retirement years together. I don’t want to work a job anymore and answer to people who don’t know what they are doing.

Please bring something useful to the banquet. I am sick and tired of BS IM’ers.

    Thank you Kevin

  49. Barbara Payton says:

    Kevin,
You make me so proud. My ebook is ready to be uploaded and now it’s another opportunity to growing, mentoring, and a exciting future with you. You my friend are a keeper.
Thanks for bringing out the best in people.

  50. Neal Von Almen says:

I agree with Hillary although I have only been trying to learn to earn a full-time income online since the beginning of this year. I hope to be able to replace my income from my J.O.B. by the end of this year. I may overly ambitious (I usually am) but I believe that it can be done if I can gain a keen focus on a proven system and take decisive action. I need all the help that I can get.

Thank you for doing this Kevin!

  51. Hi Kevin,
I’m waiting with baited breath for the next step :)
You asked what do I want. I’ve been working at learning internet marketing for 3 years and have the debt to show for it. Last year I did 13 teleseminars with I.M.experts. Now I’m trying to get my mind around how to market some of those. I want to supplement my govt. pension but in a big way. I have big plans for the income. I am 72 years old, with a background of experience in developing social house, government programs, as a pharmacist and stockbroker. I’ve done all those but now I am having difficulty in focusing on one project to completion. Too many irons in the fire and each day a new promotion that looks so-o good. How to develop focus and discipline?

Very excited to have been referred to Kevin Riley Inc. just over a month ago. Have been taking in all that he has to offer and with this new Manifesto I will surely reach my current goals and will adjust them and set new ones along the way. Have been dabbling in online marketing and making money on the net since 1999 - but I am so ready to make this full time. Take me to the top Kevin!

  53. Kevin your latest instalment is just what I needed whilst I have been waiting for your package I have been trawling the net for ideas and all sorts of products are out there I must say some are very tempting but my package has arrived and now I intend to stay focused in fact in my book I mention the danger of jumping from one musical instrument to a second before even getting proficient with the first as i say in my book you can ride two motor bikes at once people in the circus do it all the the time but its much easier to ride one. cheers mick

  54. Fendi Salim says:

Hi Kevin, when I received your email today mentioning how fortunate you’ve been; having Rieko working side-by-side with you, I realise we have something in common as well.

I too, am fortunate to have my spouse working with me on our local ecommerce business. Suddenly, I feel as if I’ve been missing out on this outstanding manifesto as we keep our focus on our business.

I have to agree with you that “Not everyone understands us entrepreneurs” and I like the positivity of everyone around here and please allow me to shout out a BIG HELLO!

    Cheers

  55. Eileen Fox says:

I remember the night I ran across one of your adverts about Production Creation. Finding you has been like finally getting a good teacher in school, you remember them always for teaching you and teaching you how to learn. You have done that for me in many ways, thank you.

I look forward to following this manifesto and now that I am here keeping active and current with it.

    Eileen

  56. Eileen Fox says:

I have caught up on the videos. I can see where you are going with it and I am quite willing to follow along. I can’t think of many others I would want to model myself after. It will be a hard press to get my family to take this seriously but I have hopes.
I am going to cull my mailing lists and close my extra email accounts to cut down on the junk.
I have also scheduled time to start back and finish my PCL guide and follow up with finishing the TGL. I got so far and then let myself be sidetracked.

I will offer no excuses, I will get this done and look forward to the Mastermind Sessions along with the forums for PCL and TGL.

    Thanks Kevin

  57. Mike Linley says:

As ever Mr Riley over-delivers even with a free product! For any Newbies considering taking the plunge; if you can’t make an on-line work with Kevin’s guidance you’re probably in the wrong trade! The Manifesto is laying the foundation to success whatever level you’re at. Forget the ‘Gurus’ jump in with both feet this guy knows what he’s doing!

    See you at the top!

  58. Kevin this is by far the best video by far i did not know about karma until a few years ago ,i agree with what your saying a hundred and ten percent and i made myself a pledge from the very beginning that if i ever make a few bob i am going to give some back to those less fortunate karma really does exsist

  59. Darryl Hurst says:

I like this, a fresh approach for sure, am busy unsigning from other lists, ect. Can’t believe all the crap I signed up for or bought. Been “learning” for a year or so, day job is going bad fast and I’m tired of it anyway. I’m 59, ready for new adventures.

Anyone who lives in Japan is cool by me. I love Kamakura! I’m on the bus!

  60. Thank you Kevin for illuminating my life with the strong shining light of your presence in this planet.

Yesterday I was reading your report, Plucking Low Hanging Fruit, an i started to vibrate with all the concepts you present there, and i decided put them in practice because i need make some more cash flow fast, because i can’t afford to buy any new reports now. I love that MPO concept and i am going to do something like that using bum marketing as you say.

Do you want to build a home-based business?
Of course i want… in fact i am running one in a part-time business here in Portugal, but this is an international opportunity and i want to expand, but now i am feeling that i have a lot to learn, yet.

Do you just want to make a little extra income?
A little extra income is all I need to start paying some debts, in order to be free to teach and help others.

Do you want to supplement a pension?
When i decide to start this part-time opportunity i was thinking that it could be a cool pension by making huge residual income 8 years from now.
I am open to learn more about neworking…

Do you want a long-term income that fully replaces your job?
That is the reason that i am doing this part-time. I want a long-term income in order to fully replace my job. I believe that i will achieve this if i do not quit this telecommunications part-time business i am developing in this tough times.

Do you want money right now?
oh yes y do… this is a hard month.

Do you want income security for the future?
    Naturally.

Do you want to make money online? Or offline?
I think i want both, but i will love make money online… i am learning how to do it…

Do you want the freedom of being your own boss?
    Yes i want!

Once again, thank you Kevin for your shining light in this planet… we are here to make the difference and create a new reality.

  61. Ronald Shaw says:

Hi Kevin, thank you for the videos. Being a newbie, these are very useful for me !

Just begun the homed-base how-to business empire an loving it so far !

    Thanks Kevin

  62. Greg Cooksley says:

    Hey Kevin,
Only just got around to watching the first video today….very sobering to say the least….

Firstly thanks for all the awesome information that you have provided in the past….you always go that further than any other guru!

Secondly, this is an awesome initiative purely because it gets me thinking and imagining what I would like my life to be like in the future.

Do you want to build a home-based business?
    Absolutely….

Do you just want to make a little extra income?
Yes….but I want to focus on building a sustainable business in the medium term…

Do you want to supplement a pension?
I don’t have substantial retirement funds so it’s more like establishing significant funds for the future…

Do you want a long-term income that fully replaces your job?
I’m already working full time at this business…I have to make it work!!!

Do you want money right now?
Yip de doo!!! Have some sizeable debts to clear.

Do you want income security for the future?
    Absolutely….

Do you want to make money online? Or offline?
Initially online but then to help other local offline businesses to grow their online presence…

Do you want the freedom of being your own boss?
    Absolutely…

    Thanks again Kevin….

    Looking forward to the ride.

  63. Hi Kevin,

Just wondering what program you use to make your videos.

    Thanks

    Ian

  64. Kevin Riley says:

Ian. These videos are shot with a Flip camera and then assembled in Camtasia. Really ghetto video creation.

  65. Steve Tuggle says:

    Hi Kevin,
I just jumped on board. You guided me through the writing of my first ebook, The Relaxed Root Canal. Amazingly, it is selling in small numbers but I’m still building the website. What is significant to me is that I had tried other ways to write an ebook but your method is what led me to the finished product. So, I am really looking forward to The Success Manifesto. Help me write another guide, get more traffic, and ramp up to the next level. I’m a few videos behind so I’ve got to go!
Thanks for creating the highest quality material I’ve seen on IM.
    Steve Tuggle

  66. dileepa says:

Thrilled to be around - absolutely secure with you Kevin.

  67. I cannot believe its a free product. So much of info for free. Thanks..

  68. John Durack says:

    Hi Kevin,

I am a newbie here, but am really excited to be on board with you and to start building a secure financial future. I am definitely interested in making money now and also putting a plan in place to create a long-term online business. I am looking forward to the next Mini Money Factory!

Thanks for sharing your knowledge and time with us!

    John

  69. Tom Harvey says:

I found Kevin Riley through the VideoProductionWorkshop series as advertised on Warrior Forum.. This series has been a godsend inasmuch as I really needed to learn how to do quality videos as I realize that video is a necessity.
I find myself at the age of 70 needing to both supplement my social (in)security as well as make as much money as I possibly can and build a viable business.
I would like to have a legacy business to leave to someone who is very special to me and thus enable that person to enjoy a better life style.
Selfishly, I also need immediate cash flow to live any kind of life style here in the United States. Social Security doesn’t quite cut it.
Was able to build a couple of successful businesses over my career but for a variety of reasons, I find myself quite broke and needing to reinvent myself..
Figure that the internet is probably one of the best methods as it certainly is where it is at and will be for the foreseeable future.
The biggest problem is what to market, and how to market it.
Do I join an MLM and if so, which one..so many look as though they are true scams. ( I did get involved in one early on)
Also I need to develop the discipline to only ride one motorcycle at a time..the information being thrown at you all the time is overwhelming.
Now that I have found Kevin Riley, I think that your willingness to guide, teach and mentor is a true God Send.. Karma is something that I have always believed in and I now really believe in it.. I am sure that Karma brought you into my chaotic internet existence.
    Tom Harvey
