I am really enjoying these installments and hoping that I can integrate some fast money coming now into my existing on-line business which will be a year old on June 4 and is doing as well as I expected given a very narrow niche. The world is my market and my reputation is growing weekly - just not my bank account! Looking forward to each installment.

I am a great fan of kissing, Kiss and KISS. Simplicity is a powerful strategy.

While in the military I was taught that the more complex, complicated, and enduring an operation is the greater the chances of failure. Too many things can go wrong and usually do. If the mission is complicated always keep a slot open for Murphy because he will certainly show up at some point.

By using simple methods integrated into a simple system not only is it easily implemented but also it is more open to modification and the ability to pass it on to others.

Give me a KISS and I am happy.

    Kevin,
It is coming together isn’t it?

I am hoping that what we learn to be an affiliate of your products will also translate later into promoting other products form Click bank and the like. Not to mention my own guide on taking Paid Surveys without getting ripped off.

I am looking forward to each new installment.

  4. Claire Elliott says:

    Kevin,

Thank you for these videos. Already I have benefitted from your direct and approachable style and information. My biggest hurdle so far has been information overload and trying to learn absolutely everything. I recently realised that I don’t NEED to know it all, I just need to focus on one doable thing at a time and take small, logical and productive steps in the correct direction and I will build a long term internet business. The techie stuff I don’t know I can find other people to do. Thanks for explaining the tools today and keep it coming. I can feel the momentum building and I’m getting excited to see what’s next.

  5. The videos don’t work for me, meaning they will not play on my computer. And this had only a list of software as a pdf. Am I missing something?

I agree with Claire that trying to learn everything can be a big pitfall. I am like that in my whole life, always wanting to do everything myself. The result is that I don’t really do anything exceptionally well. So this direction is very good.

If there’s more to installment 7 than I am getting I hope someone will tell me what I may be doing wrong or send me the info again.
The video starts to load then just goes on forever. Even Realplayer is having a problem with it.

I am so sorry. Seems the new installment never uploaded properly in the PDF. Now fixed. Please download it again.

As for the video, I can’t see why it is giving you trouble, other than it is slightly longer than previous videos.

    My apologies,

    Kevin

I’ve been watching the videos even though I just signed up today for the notification list. I’ve read most of the comments from others and decided to add mine although I probably should have added it to the first video feedback area.

Like a lot of others I’m a gatherer of information - not necessarily “information overload” but “information clutter”.

For instance, I’ve purchased most of your “Recipes” and glanced at them, but because I needed to finish what I had already started (read that “collected”) I allowed the valuable information to collect hard drive dust. I was originally attracted to your reports because you live in Japan (I lived there for 3+ years and loved it), but the info you provide goes way beyond just that.

Such a shame I have puttered around for about 3 years now, dabbling in this and that. I have actually made a little money with affiliate marketing, but now I’m ready for the big girls stuff.

Even before I watched the video on focus, I had started hitting the unsubscribe button because of all the distractions. Now my inbox is almost manageable, though there’s still a few more I need to take care of.

Thanks for all the good information you have provided us so far and I’m looking forward to really being involved. I’m going on vacation with my sister and brother-in-law in a few days (sharing expenses is the only way I can afford it at the moment but that will be changing) so my internet connection may be limited. This will give me time to work on some ideas I already have for “short reports”.

Sorry for the long rambling style comment, but thanks for the platform to learn and participate.

  8. thank you Kevin. This is the stuff that I really need (need all of the installments but this is foremost). I’ve lost count of the hours I’ve spent close to tears at this computer stumped by the simplest thing. Most guides assume that you already know the basics, but many of us do not. I was at a party recently where a 7 year old child adeptly took his dad’s cell phone and made a little video. I’m sure I could do it after reading the instructions a few times but for this kid it was as easy as tying his shoes.

I’m wondering how I will translate what you have in store to what I am already doing. I got a domain name, a website and someone to host it but am having a hard time understanding how to use them. The first 2 pages are up thanks to a bright young man who traded computer help for 2 puppies I had up for adoption. He is a whiz, Microsoft certified and builds web pages for a living. But I want to do these things myself so am really looking forward to your help. I just hope the steps will work with what I already have. I am using your Ebook info to write mine and it is coming out good. I find though that when I send a page to my old website guy for him to post he can’t open it so I have to always make it a PDF (and even have trouble with that). I am just going to have to discipline myself to sit here and keep trying these things until I can understand.

My business uses video a lot because I have to demonstrate things so I am very appreciative that you will include that. I have been shooting things with my little handy cam all week but must now read the manual to see how to get it into the computer so I can post it to my youtube site.

This is all so very exciting and encouraging to think that I will actually be able to function with the computer. It’s sort of like mayonnaise which I love but was always a mystery to me. I was so surprised at how simple it is to make and now do it all the time with no problem.

I think the lebgth of this video was too much for my machine to handle with the Telefonica download rate of 74Kb/s (how’s that for a 6Mb connection!)
I do have the tools in your list or real alternatives - it isn’t until someopne points it out to you that you realise you are using several tools where one will do or, worse, using different tools for the same job in different projects and failing to become really proficient with any of them.
